Our duck chorizo is coarsely minced using premium quality duck meat for the best and freshest flavour. Flavoured in our unique blend of spices and filled into a natural casing, then double smoked, adding an extra flavour dimension. This duck chorizo is made entirely out of duck which offers an alternative compared to a pork chorizo. It’s the perfect addition to any dish including pasta, salad or enjoyed as an entree.
This product is ready to eat and can be enjoyed as is or lightly reheated. This product is made using Australia’s best quality ingredients.
Australian duck breast (94%), salt water, garlic, mixed spices, mineral salt (450, 452), flavour enhancer (621), sodium nitrite (250), starter culture.
Our duck chorizo is ready to eat and takes on a fresh, delicate and clean flavour when cold. When reheated, takes on a stronger and spicier flavour as they are released.
To reheat we recommend pan frying or grilling the whole chorizo on a BBQ for entertaining. If heating on the BBQ, make some slits in the chorizo to open it up and crisp the casing.
Keep refrigerated <4°C.
Once seal is broken, remove product from plastic and keep in a clean, dry container lined with paper towel. Must be consumed within 7 days.
