Made using only Australian pork, our maple-infused ham is marinated in our unique blend of spices then double smoked for 12 hours. In the Pork Corporation's ham awards, one of the judges; a smallgoods master, scored our ham a perfect score of 100/100 along with comments from the other judges that the ham was 'excellent' and 'perfect'. These hams are available all year round for any function. It’s the perfect addition to any dish including pasta, salad, a panini or as a Christmas roast. This product is fully cooked and can be eaten cold or lightly re-heated.

Pork leg bone-in, water, mineral salt (450, 451, 452), dextrose, salt, antioxidant (316), preservative (250), canola oil, sugar, flavour (Maple), colour (150c).

Product Storage + Care Instructions

Your Sunshine Meats ham comes cryovac-sealed to keep it fresher for longer. Please take note of the Use By date on the label. Our Christmas hams, unopened, have Use By dates well into January and February.

Once opened, your ham can last up to 3 weeks if stored correctly. Any leftovers (if there are any!) should be wrapped in a clean tea towel and placed in a ham bag. You can wash the tea towel and ham bag in a vinegar solution, but always dry both before placing your ham inside. The tea towel should be changed every few days as it starts to moisten, but the ham bag should last longer if the tea towel is kept as dry as possible.

Do not use any cling wrap, other plastic or foil to wrap your ham as this will cause moisture to build up and your ham will spoil very quickly. As you eat more of your ham, and the remaining piece becomes smaller, you can do away with the tea towel and instead wrap the small piece in paper towel, changing the paper towel every 1-2 days.
